Features and Usage

Plain tube aims to obtain serum samples for biochemical, immunological and serological tests in clinical tests. Its main advantage is that serum can be naturally separated from blood cells and fibrin, so that its physical and chemical properties remain pollution-free. It can provide enough serum samples without contamination for clinic, and keep the serum constant in a long detection period. The complete serum is suitable for blood collection and storage, biochemical, immunological and serological detection, as well as medical examination of various viruses and trace elements.

Gel&Clot Activator tube is designed and processed to permit a fast serum and blood clot separation. Each tube contains a separate gel in the base of the tube. This forms a stable barrier between the serum and the blood cells during centrifugation. In the primary tube and under recommended laboratory conditions, certain parameters remain stable for up to 48 hours.

Pro-Coagulation tube with the coagulant coated may promote the blood coagulation after collection. The appropriate amount of coagulant make blood coagulation in a relatively short time, avoiding potential hemolysis problem which caused by too rapid clotting. Finally, transparent serum can be separated after centrifugation.

Coagulation tube contains a buffered sodium citrate solution, which are used for examination of coagulation parameters. It is available with a citrate concentration of 0.109mol/l(3.2%) or 0.129mol/l(3.8%). The mixing ratio is: 1 part citrate solution to 9 parts blood. After blood collection, the test tube should be rotated 180° and stirred 5-6 times.

EDTA tubes are for the examination of whole blood hematology. Each letter stands for Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic acid. They are offered as either EDTA K2 or EDTA K3. EDTA binds the calciumions and therefore blocks the coagulation cascade. Erythrocytes, leucocytes and thrombocytes in an EDTA anticoagulated blood sample are stable for up to 24 hours. Our automatic sampling instrument finely and spray additives onto the interior tube wall accurately, to ensure the mixing speed and the anticoagulation effect. This kind of tube is very convenient to use for it can be directly put on the analyzer to detect without opening the cap.

Heparin tube aims to obtain plasma specimen, which is used not only for emergency biochemistry test but also for blood rheology test. The inner wall of the tube is coated with spray-dried lithium sodium, ammonium or heparin. These addictive are anti-coagulants, which active anti-thrombins, thus blocking the coagulation cascade of the blood specimen. Lithium Heparin tubes are also available with a separator gel, to get high quality plasma specimen for emergency biochemistry test.

Glucose tube that compounds of Sodium Fluoride and Anticoagulant aims to obtain highly stable plasma for blood glucose testing. Sodium Fluoride is a kind of inhibitor of glucose degradation, which has the function of repressing glucose metabolism and degradation. Optional Anticoagulant can be Potassium Oxalate, EDTA and Heparin. They could prevent blood coagulation and avoid blood hemolysis. This particular compound addictive realize that blood glucose specimen could be cold storage for a long time.

ESR tube is mainly used for Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate test. It contains buffered Sodium Citrate solution with the concentration of 3.8%(0.129mol/L). The mixing ratio of blood to Sodium Citrate is 4:1. It is suitable for the ESR tests for subjects of different gender and ages, with highly related coefficient comparing with Westergren method.
