Centrifuge Rack

Overview

Alfine centrifuge boxes or centrifuge racks are made of autoclavable polypropylene. These racks are designed for the centrifuge tube or microtubes storage. There are various designs for holding different sizes of tubes.

Features

The box types consists of a rack housed in the storage box with transparent cover. The floating rack has moulded-in buoys which provide exceptional stability in water baths. The inner rack is designed with an open bottom which allows ice in an ice bath to pack around each tube. The box can also be filled with ice and used as as a self contained ice bath. A conventional use of the rack on the bench top is also possible. Will resist boiling, autoclaving and freezing. It resists from -90℃ to 121℃.

The tray types are designed to accommodate microtubes. They are space-saving. An alpha-numeric matrix allows accurate sample identification. Lateral handles allow easy handling of the racks.

The rack types, especially for the universal racks are durable. These versatile racks are designed to attach to another by pressing the two sides together. Two parts or more can present tubes in varied configurations. Alpha-numeric matrix on the four sides for better sample location. They can be autoclaved and can be placed in freezers and baths.

Usage

The boxes and the racks are widely used in Biochemistry and molecular biology, etc.
