Description
Features
ATC-Base Cassettes without lid are made from high dennsity acetal polymer, with 34 round holes of diameter 2mm. They are designed to accept our standard stainless steel lids of ATC-Lid. ATC-Base are totally resistant to the solvents used in histological processes and possible to write on.
ATC-Ring Embedding rings are suitable for holding and identifying tissue sample blocks and fit well in micro tome chuck adapters. The etched writing surface on the ring is marked with an identification number and placed on top of the sample block.
ATC-Det Cassettes for tissues detachable with hinged lid are designed to hold tissue specimens during processing, embedding and storage. Each part of this type have 64 holes of approximately 0.76x5.06mm. The writing area of 45° is suitable for most automatic labelers.
ATC-Int series Cassettes for tissues with one-piece integral lid have 64 holes of 1x5mm in base and lid. This type can simply snap apart and lock the lid into the base of cassette in order to relock securely without danger of specimen loss. The 45° degree labeling surface can be used with most labeling instruments.
