Alfine filtering flasks are made of top quality, heavy duty borosilicate glass, which can withstand high vacuum. They have integral glass side-arm to accept 9mm flexible tubing. The normal mouth or the standard ground joint mouth is available.

The heavy wall of Alfine suction flasks can provide increased mechanical strength to withstand differential pressures when used under vacuum.

The side tube effectively act as an adapter over which the end of a thick-walled flexible hose can be fitted to form a connection to the flask.

Usage

Our products are perfect for the science or home laboratory. They can be connected with a hose to source of vacuum such as an aspirator, vacuum pump. The filter bottle with upper nozzle has a branch tube at the lower end of the bottleneck. It is used to connect the air pump, Install filter funnel at bottle mouth. Using the pressure difference caused by the air pump, the liquid to be filtered is filtered into the filter bottle. Suitable for filtering small volume liquid.

Package and Transportation

All the glass products are safely and separately inner packed then corrugated cartons outer packed. The shipping marks contains necessary information of name, specification, quantity, weight, carton sizes, etc.

The glassware must be handled with care, stacked and put above the heavy goods during the transport, keeping away from strong acid and alkali or other chemical substance.
