Basic Information Of The Microscope Cover Glass

Glass sheet is a thin and flat glass sheet of transparent material. It is usually square or rectangular, about 20 mm wide (4/5 inches), and one minute thick. It is placed on an object observed with a microscope. Objects are usually placed between lid glass and slightly thicker microscope loading glass. The microscopic glass sheet is placed on a microscope platform or slider, and provides physical support for objects and sliding.
